Working Out your Grief

What has helped me tremendously on my journey is working out. Since August 2015 I have worked out for a minimum of twice a week for over a year now and before that had started running a few months earlier.  Then in 2016 got into cycling and completed Flying Wheels and Seattle to Portland bike ride.  Often I would drive to the gym with tears in my eyes and I would get their and DJ would give me a kick butt workout!  I felt upbeat and stronger after each workout.

I would like to to support others in their grief process through fitness. Strengthening my physical body and nourishing it with proper diet was vital to being able to strengthen the emotional, mental and spiritual bodies to handle the many triggers of the grief process and many other daily challenges.
